    "Greetings and Salutations!"

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by S.L.G, Sep 30, 2016.

Good day Dear Readers and Writers,

It is with the utmost enthusiasm that I introduce myself; Howdy! I'm Steph, nice to meet you all. A few fun facts about Moi:

    ★French-Canadian (schooling in English)
    ★Coffeeholic
    ★Pizzaholic
★Ninja Girl-Gamer (Playstation 4 - PC on occasion) *wink wink
    ★Crazy Cat Lady
    ★Hippie-Geek
★X-Files & Supernatural & American Horror Story - Mega Fan!
★New-Age(er) with an interest in the paranormal
    ★Aspiring Writer
    ★Blogger - mostly book reviews
    ★Book Hoarder

I am a lover of many genres of books especially: Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Dystonia and Paranormal Romance. My favorite book and author is 1984 by George Orwell.

I look forward to interacting with you all and learning new writing techniques. I am here to meet kindred spirits, improve my writing skills, learn from others, participate and provide positive and constructive comments/reviews.

My goal is to write a Young Adult Novel. I plan to self-publish upon completion. I hope I can find a writing group here that will aid in my ventures as well as provide support to theirs. I may not be the best writer in the world but I certainly have a story to tell and can't wait to read yours!

    Later Vader!

Looks like the usual welcome wagon is slacking on the job.

Welcome to the forum, many a fine mind here (intellectual and maddening, and a mixing of the two).

So good luck on your works and I will C-ya around (provided the orderlies aren't in a sporting mood to lock me back in my cell).

    Have fun...

Hi Steph! Welcome to WF. :) Sounds like you'll fit right in!

Is your YA novel in the SF/F genre as well? :)

1984 is also one of my favorite novels. If you haven't read Yevgeny Zamyatin's We yet, I highly recommend it. I'm sure it in some ways influenced Orwell, too. :D

Anyway, here's our New Member Quick Start to get you started. See you around! :)
