Greetings Writing Forums! Where to start, where to start? Well, I suppose I could give a little bit of my background in writing. I am a third year university student in history, so I deal mostly with historical fiction and fantasy when writing creatively (but mostly a mix between the two). I've been told by numerous professors and fellow students that my style is very captivating and "story-like," although in terms of actual fictional writing, my works have mostly been given negative reviews. Thusly, I figured its time to join a writing forum and see if I can improve upon it. So hi rest of the writing community!
Hello new member, welcome to the forum. That is a bummer that you got neg. revs on your fiction. Though I am sure you will make improvement, it just takes practice, practice, practice. Or since we are writers, write, write, write, and you will get there. Critiques may also help you with your problem bits, and you will improve from that as well.
