A poem I found that describes my country in the winter.

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by lessa, Feb 1, 2008.

    It's winter in Canada
    And the gentle breezes blow
    Seventy miles an hour
    At twenty-five below.

    Oh, how I love Canada
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And you nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
    I could never leave Canada
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!!

What? North Carolina is a state not a country... time for sucession... what? We tried that already? Failed miserably eh... darn...

It is certainly describing northern Ontario this winter.
and no I didn't write it but I certainly enjoyed it.
I like winter just not for 7 months of the year.
One good thing though no black flies, or noseeums or mosquitoes.

Somewhere in this universe... Is there some reason
    Lol, that's funny.

Where I live, the winter is just dry, so I can't really relate, but I can sort of imagine what it would be like...
