    Recycling letters :-)

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by JetBlackGT, Jul 12, 2014.

We should all be recycling our old emails, texts and Tweets so the letters can be reused.

We are wasting valuable, non-renewable resources by filling our landfills with thousands of letters every time we just click [DELETE].

America is the largest user of internet letters with over 450 billion letters thrown into landfills or simply dumped into the ocean, every year. Letters do not biodegrade for centuries! They stay in the environment being eaten by birds and sea turtles and killing their babies.

It has recently been discovered that the "giant garbage patch" in the Pacific ocean is comprised primarily of old, hardly used, internet letters.

Something MUST BE DONE to stop this.
