Hey everyone. I'm Francis/Freddy/Fred van Zandt. Relation to the van Zandts of old New Amsterdam is a yes, though all their money is sadly gone so I work as an insurance agent by day. By night, I'm a Fantasy writer currently querying agents for my first novel. I like to write non-standard protagonists - old folks, inept heroes and the like. I haven't too many people in my immediate area to share my writing with, so here's to collaborating with all of you!

Rockland County! It's actually just north of NYC, and I LOATHE calling it "upstate," but according to technical geographical people, anything not NYC or Long Island is upstate. I have mountains, though. That's what counts!
