Tomorrow begins a new year and you know it's on all our minds...what realistic goals can we set for ourselves in 2017? And will we hold ourselves accountable to them? Writing is a lonely business and a writer can very easily allow him or herself to become distracted by the outside world and quickly fall behind on writing goals. Anyone up for a mutual checking in with each other periodically throughout the year to encourage and motivate one another to stay on track with goals...to hold each other accountable to them?
As the year draws to a close, I am rather proud of myself as I've completed two big things I had set for goals at this time last year. So, for this coming year's resolution... my writing partner and I will complete our book, and I shall produce two dozen or so illustrations for it.
