Hi everybody (if anybody actually reads this!) I'm Rachie/Rachel/Rach, whatever your preference! I'm 21 and have been writing since I could, well...write, however, recently I've tried to "refine" it I guess. I'm interested in writing and it's been my dream since I was little to be published one day. I thought a good way to get advice was to join a forum and see what could be achieved! I know some people on forums have ended up collaborating to get a book of short stories published, and if I can get my work up to scratch, I could never thank you all more for help I received (hoping!!!) If anyone has any advice for a new starter, please let me know! Even though I have written for years, and have penned out hundreds of stories/poems, I wouldn't class myself as all too capable just yet! Thanks in advance x

Welcome, Rachie. My only advice in addition to the above is to remember that very few of the members here are published writers. It's a good idea to consider this something like a huge study group in which everyone is learning together. Good luck in your writing endeavors.
