    Punctuation all expenses paid vacation

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by dillseed, Dec 19, 2014.

    Which is preferred — (A) or (B)?

    (A) an all-expense-paid vacation
    (B) an all-expenses-paid vacation

    Can we drop the hyphens?

E.g.: an all expenses paid vacation

    Happy Holidays.
