I want to write a story about Angels. But I don't know how to. Since I don't want to do the generic thing. Can someone help me with ideas about Angels?
I don't really know what sort of ideas you want but maybe you could write down what you think is generic about angels. Then maybe you could turn them around on their head. For example angels are often seen in white robes and sandels. You could have them in suits and heaven could be an office building rather than clouds. I don't know what else to say really.
I don't want to offend anyone's religion, but I had a certain idea. The Virgin Mary had a child with Lucifer. The child is an angel, but also a God in a way. An intelligent Angel may be trying to over run god, but learning from the mistakes of Lucifer from the bible. I don't know.
It sounds interesting, Leaka, like a soap opera between the angels sort of thing? I like the sound of it anyways, making the Angels out to be very similar to humans in their habits and faults might be a good idea.
Really Heather. Cause I trully have been trying to write something like that, but it continues turning out wrong. I get really nit picky about it. Actually let me see I'm going to write something and then post it in the novel section. Then I'll see what people think.
Aye thats a good idea, posting your work. People are often too hard on their own work, spotting faults were there aren't any. And honestly, it sounds like a good idea, an interesting peice which wuld be nice to read I think.
Yep. I'm now having a hard time finding it. I just wrote it. I didn't work on a title most of my stories don't have titles so they are number: 11120367 All in numerical order and now I forgot what I named it. lol! I'll find it don't worry.
Hehe, I do that all the time. Hlaf of mine are called ghingfhmfgjm because they are the keys I hit first
Yeah one time I couldn't find this story for about a year because I called it Rhyming Boogers. And I really didn't realize it was one of my best stories ever written. lol!
lol! Well Rhyming Boogers was school homework. So yeah I got a bad grade because I couldn't find it. I told him I named it weird too.
Nope they didn't let me off. But I did send it to my teacher for half credits. He deducted one point for the title. He thought I was being a smart *** if you know what I mean.
Haha, aye. We don't have to title our peices, or if we do it is usually "romeo and Juliet study" o "Creative Writing". Nothing creative.
Well my teacher has always says that we must have a name for our title work. And that if we are not suppose to write other people's work then we aren't suppose to write generic titles. He called it Title Plagiarism. lol1
Well he saids the title is part of the writing if you know what I mean. So we have to be just as creative with the title as the story. Because the titles gives you hints about a stories theme and what the story is going to be about.
Aye I guess so. My last peice I just called "lost", as that was the name I was given for the topic I chose. I am really terrible as choosing titles, as you will find looking back at some of my work on here.
I have trouble with titles as well. I can write a wonderful story, but the title is lame. Or just some random words put together. Like I was writing a story called R.E.N. And it stands for Reality Effect Neutrality. And that makes no sense to me.
Lol. Well people have all sorts of weird titles still don't they. Like a book I just read, Bt inside I'm screaming, was just part of a sentence from within the novel. Saves the hassle of thinking of one I guess.
Yep. I'm going to write a story and its title is going to be: I just felt like writing a story about a girl. That would be an awesome title. lol!
lol! That would be funny if people bought it. And then the story was more about a guy then a girl. And then they got confused. Okay I went to far. lol!
In my new project, im thinking of cutting out angels and having God himself being the messenger. Would that work????
That would be cool. Thats a neat idea. You should do it. It would totally contradict the way we perceive God.
