Was bored. No longer bored. Busted out an old map I'd been working on for my WIP and what was once an indulgence I had to justify, is now certified as pro-duc-tive!

 

I am trying to find new hobbies to try out,
and also (slowly) getting through my stack
of books that have yet to be read.

 

Trouble is, I recently finished the umpty-third edit of my sf novel, had been rejected for the studio tour, so i have no projects. Zero projects - clear decks; nothing I'm behind with, nothing to feel guilty about.
Was looking forward to road trips, book sales, antique markets -- you know, summer vacation.
Now...
I'm so frickin bored with the inside of my house, I might start repairing, painting and decorating the damn thing!

 

I need coffee.

*goes to make some*

Wow! That's the most exciting thing that happened all day.
Correction, second most exciting. I also had to edit my post to correct an error caused by a confluence of my having failed to learn touch-typing with the wearing off of paint from my cheap keyboard.
Now, if my blood-pressure can take it, I'll go hear up my leftover rizotto. I might even *gasp* grate some cheese on it.

By the way, and as I told you before @Some Guy - 'misanthropic writer' is not allowed in my opinion. I'll probably get @jannert on to you for that, @Some Guy you are a fukking anarchist.

I'm actually looking for the mental health thread. I need direction to the mental health thread, I want to go to the mental health thread, where's the mental health thread? I want to talk about my mental health thread to myself on the mental health thread. Who is in charge of my mental health thread? Is it @Moose? I'll take it to @Moose thread. I would especially like to thank all the little people... if i could remember where I put them.

 

Here I am, reading this and wondering "These people having nothing else better to do..."


Then I realise that I am exactly the same. And also that I am sitting here and the most exciting part of my day is going to the toilet and taking showers for the fun of it and also to change it up a bit. Shower at noon! Radical, I know.

Also, can I just point out that for the last three days I have noticed a strange spot on the wall. I think it's chilli con carne from sometime last year. Anyway, it reminds me of a sheep doing the moon walk.
