    Another Newbie

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Deveron Poppy, Feb 12, 2007.

Hi, another Newbie here. This time from Scotland. I have not written since I was a teenager, which is a long time ago, but this Xmas, suddenly got the urge, and now no one can stop me. I am halfway through the third chapter of a childrens book, and have written a couple of short stories. I'm hoping to get some feedback from this forum as it seems very friendly here, so hopefully any criticisms will be positive, and received as such. I am at the beginning of a big learning curve.
    I look forward to particpating.

Welcome Deveron Poppy. I am also a new writer on this forum.I have found it to be great. I have found some tell you how it is....and I guess I like it that way because you learn from it. I have not met one mean person here, although my time here has been short. Pm me if you need help with anything and hopefully I will be able to point you in the right direction.

Welcome and good luck but it sounds like you won't need it! You know I've just worked out what 'PM me' means?!

LOL. Not sure what you mean by not needing luck!

Wordwizard- thank you I will. I don't mind constructive criticism. It's good because it moves you forward, but I have read criticisms on other forums that have ripped people apart, and that's not right. There's a way to do these things, and it ain't like that!
