I got this wild hair up my ass the other day and was looking for available domain names that I could register. I had recently read after watching King Kong Skull Island that as part of Warner Brothers' "Monsteverse" they were going to make a Godzilla verses King Kong movie. So I looked at what the website was for Batman Verses Superman, which happened to be BatmanvSuperman.com and put GodzillavKingKong.com in the search engine. Well the domain was available! So I registered it. I'm just curious if anyone knows a good way I can go about selling that site. The movie is actually set to come out on my birthday May 29th, 2020. How crazy right? It would be awesome if I could get a couple grand off of it...any help would be great!
It looks like your website is parked for free. On the GoDaddy default parked page there is an option for a viewer to purchase your site anywhere from a dollar to ten dollars, but they must accomplish this with your permission, so you could try to bargain a higher price. I doubt you will make that much of a profit for a few reasons. Nothing is stopping anyone from purchasing http://godzillavskingkong.com instead. Hostgators main scam deal is that your first month of website hosting is only one penny. Having a website for one year is only costs about 100-300 dollars. If you think someone is going to buy a website for 1,000 dollars you are out of your mind. It's not like you are buying a house, cleaning it up, and then selling it back for a greater value. The money is going towards the domain host. You will not make any money unless the buyer decides to leave a tip by other means, or you are hosting the site yourself. I think you might be stuck with that website. Might as well learn some HTML/CSS while you still have it. Sources: I checked your domain. I have had a website for seven months.
