Hi, I'm going to do my daily novel progress sitting with the Write or Die software (the one that blasts annoying sounds if you pause from the keyboard for too long) and I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a word war with me to make things more fun and gain some new writing buddies. For those who've never done a word war at a NaNoWriMo event, basically you just set a start time and a length and then everyone tries to get the most words written in that time. Now I realize that some might say it's quality not quantity and that they feel their writing isn't as good when rushed, so this might not be for you. It varies from person to person. I for one feel my biggest setback is not writing, so progress is better than no progress. I'm thinking of starting within the next half hour or so. Anyone want to join and compare word counts? You'll get some work done on your own novel, too...*nudge* (If anyone sees this and wants to do one say, tomorrow, leave a visitor message on my wall as I write every day)
I'm interviewing some people at 6:30, and I might have to take care of other things before that - but maybe. I'll get back to you when I get up tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow night? I should be back from interviewing at 9 or something. Taylor wants to so her and I will do it now and you and I can tomorrow?
