Closing words: (Undecided... may be an epilogue to the initial story.)

The idea behind my first ever published poetry book will be a creationist story. I want to use the elements in a way that represents parts of humanity as well. Each will be personified. The story centers around Air, and so I have decided to start with air for the structure. She meets the rest in the order of Fire, Water, and finally Earth.

The styles used will change, but I don't want to use any 1 style of poetry too often. I really want to give a wide range of poetry types, while having them reflect the Element they are structured with.

I'm really excited about getting back into poetry. I will update on the progress and fill in Poem entries as they are finished.

Well... I've written poetry. However... none of it fits with my theme yet. So continuing the battle!

Maybe I need to experience more nature, write somewhere near a lake or something.

Why did you choose to base your book around the elements personified?

Just curious. I think it's a really interesting idea.

It was actually based on a short story I wrote about creationism, where I personified the elements and their conflicts/relationships led to the way the world. currently is.

The short story was well received and the college I was attending published it in their school anthology.

I guess I feel attached to those characters and how strongly they imitate specific emotions.

So if I focus on the feelings/thoughts of each element, I think it will be a good read.
