I've been a member here for awhile but I feel that some of you don't really know who I am. So I decided to start this thread so that we can get to know everyone better. The way it works is, you answer the question of the previous poster, then you ask a question for the next poster. I'll start by saying a random thing about myself then ask a question for the next poster. I was born in Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. Do you believe in the Zodiac?
I am sooo disappointed. I thought you were going to provide us answers to our problems, like an Ann Landers column or to practice psychic readings. I'm okay with the Zodiac, but I don't swear by it. I'm Leo in the West, Rat in the East. Who was your favourite childhood actor/actress?
Relaxed, laid back, no itinerary. I'm not that person who needs to see it all and do it all in 5 days. No. Give me a swim-bar, sun, and fit fellah's to eyeball. What film do you like that pretty much no one else does?
Well I'm sure there are people out there that like it, but it didn't get very good reviews and didn't live up to the hype in some people's minds. I like the movie Armageddon. If you could live during a different time which would it be?
I think I would like to live in the Roaring Twenties. I know that it was depression era and stuff, but a lot of cool things happened too. Plus, I would have some modern amenities. What's/who's your favorite band/artist?
Lifehouse and Sia (she writes for other singers too so I think she counts as both) When you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?
A veterinarian. I blame James Herriot and his books for that. Sadly, I suck at math and break into inconsolable tears at the sight of a suffering animal, so that wasn't for me. What was your first book as a child??
First book I read or first book I wrote? hahah. First book I read without zero help was "Would You Give a Dog a Bone?" First "book" I wrote was a detailed and illustrated book about a woman who was pregnant, and went to the hospital to have a baby. What is your favorite thing to do that requires internet connection?
Lately it has been spending time on You Tube. Can be entertaining but mostly a huge distraction from writing. What is your favorite death scene in a movie?
That's tough. It's hard to beat the death of Charles Foster Kane when he barely gasps out "Rosebud." The scene at the end of the Bourne Identity is also great. A rival agent from Bourne's former employer comes after him, and Bourne defeats him. As the rival is dying, they have a moment where they identify with each other. Ever had a really bad hang-nail or ingrown toenail/fingernail?
Probably entrecôte with some kind of fried potatoes (or potato wedges). What's your current WIP about?
Another cracking thread, @Lewdog. Ugh, I suck at summaries. The last of a species being driven out of hiding, reuniting with her brother and getting someone crowned along the way? What was your most recent 'victory'?
Managed to drive in and out of Lincoln city centre without hitting traffic, that was one for the records. What was the last thing someone said to you? Bet you can't remember. Mine was "Fetch me a go ahead bar".
One was the town barber, the other was a possible mobster ( it's all very hush hush ) who worked at a car plant. What was your favorite childhood toy?
BIONICLES, OH MY GOD I LOVED THESE THINGS Would you rather be twice as beautiful as you are now, and half as interesting, or twice as interesting but have fingers made out of spaghetti?
I'm breaking the rules because I want to answer this question. I would choose to be twice as interesting, but if I had fingers made out of spaghetti, that'd be the worst thing because I literally depend on my fingers for nearly everything. Getting around/moving, eating, writing, etc. Ya canna push a wheelchair with noodle fingers. How do you know what your spirit animal is? I don't understand. Uhmmm. I guess a Pichu if I can include non-real animals. Either that or a cat. What is one illogical thing that you're afraid of?
