On a cool evening, while hanging out with friends, a nice barley wine ale is hard to beat. Sierra Nevada Bigfoot comes to mind...

I agree. I don't really like the way beer tastes at all, but I definitely think it tastes worse in a can than any other way you drink it...

I used to drink a lot of beer, but then there was an ill-fated night of chicken and rice, Blue Moon, Bud Light, and Smirnoff...never again.

Now I drink Mike's Hard Lemonade. The lime ones are my favorite. :D

I don't drink beer but I have a funny beer story. My dad had been for about five years, tossing all the bottle caps from his Sam Adams and Budweiser into a small bin that just sits in the corner of the room. it was originally for decoration because it's really old and my mom likes old antiquey stuff. Anyway, after three years he'd pretty much filled the whole thing half way. Must have been at least two or three hundred bottle caps, maybe more. My dad got deployed to Iraq for a few months and while he was gone we did spring cleaning. My mom asked me if I though he'd be upset if she threw out his bottle cap collection and i warned her he probably wouldn't be mad but he'd be disappointed. Needless to say she threw them out and when my dad got back he asked "Where are my bottle caps?" You really had to hear because he sounded so disappointed XD.

I don't think he's tried rebuilding his collection since.

I myself have tried every form of alcoholic beverage save for hard liquor. I've concluded I'm like my mom and sister. We just don't like the taste of alcohol.

She crushed his dreams. You can often find stuff like bottle cap collection on Craigslist. 10,000 cool points if you replinish his collection for his birthday/christmas.

True facts. But, as the friend who was drinking with me pointed out, that was the first time he had gone drinking with someone who had thrown up more times than the number of beers they drank.

I think I finished MAYBE three and a half. I threw up ALL NIGHT. Ridiculous...

Well not drinking is good for health and such.

Granted, beer is just great to drink (so is Gin), and you do not have to drink to the point of intoxication every time (I rearely get that tore up)

I am not much of a beer drinker, but I can handle a stella artois or a Lucky lager.

Just avoid this swill. It tastes like its name. Do they filter it through a column of rust?

I'm a big fan of Lion Stout out of Sri Lanka. Bohemia used to be a favorite from Brazil, but I can't get it any more. I love Hens Tooth from the UK as well.

A drink or too a day (especially red wine) has been shown to be consistent with better health. I've also read(only in one source though) that the more you drink, the more you benefit provided you avoid alcoholism and liver failure. So three or four a day is supposed to be best but dangerous.

I like whiskey to drink. I almost never get hammered on whiskey, because it's just so much better when you sip it.
