i think beer and larger are disgusting. very vile. i am more of a cider person, or anything that goes down but no, i dislike beer.
i am also more of a vodka person myself, though i also like other liquors, beer it depends on the brand.
It was beer for me. I had a friend named Judy whom I worked with. One day at lunchtime, the day was so hot she drove us up to the liquor store and picked up a six pack. Then we went to the river and sat on a picnic table. She popped a beer and handed it to me. I wasn't a beer drinker but it was so hot that day I took a big swallow. Oh my God! That was so good and icy cold. I was converted instantly from wine to beer and drank beer for twenty more years. The only reason I don't drink beer anymore is because I can't.
Alcohol’s lame. Except for those cool lolly drinks. I like vodka cruisers on special occasions, but other than that I like my brain and liver to remain in their usual prime condition.
I like a good beer. I don't care much for rice beer, like Budweiser and some other American brews. I favor traditional beers made from barley malt, hops, water, and yeast, preferably stronger on the hops side than on the barley malt side - the latter are often sweeter than I like. I brew my own as well, although I haven't made a batch in quite a while. I think my favorite beer overall is Pilsener Urquell, which is pretty much *the* authentic Pilsner, from Pilsen (Plzen) Czechoslovakia.
As you know I'm a smooth man and hence favour Smooth, usually any denomination thereof - John Smiths is a favourite, Worthington's and Boddington's also slip down. I also enjoy a monthly or so foray into Guiness. I'm less keen on Tetley's smooth, too bitter for a smooth in my opinion. I also like the local Hydes Smooth they do here in Manchester.
Heh, alcohol is so not the thing. But, if accidentally, in a very very very very unfortunate event, must I taste a beer, I'll let you know. Like Eoz said, I'd like to stay jolly well.
I don't really have a favourite, I drink anything that is in front of me with the one exception of baileys... lol I like vodka though, and jack daniels - its gets expensive in pubs though because a double jack daniels and coke isn't that cheap in my opinion Not that I'd drink in a pub...
No, of course not. You wouldn't drink in a pub and then sing kareoke, would you? I'll drink anything, personally (which sounds awful really ). Jack Daniels is nice (but not in cold coffee), vodka and lemonade is always good, wine and coke p), and beer. Pretty much the only thing I've tried that I didn't like was absinthe
Yes. Annie was pretty well gone anyway, and hadn't noticed we'd poured Jack Daniels in her coffee. We all tried it in the end. It was a waste of Jack Daniels, really...
i have never tried Astentine but my mate is bringing back a bottle (or attempting to) from Spain as it is cheap.
Absinth Take one spoon of sugar Dip into absinth, take out and light sugar Place flamming sugar back into glass and stir Place hand over glass(to put flame out) inhale vapor Down in one
Back to beer... I like a good stout, but more in colder weather. They are rich, dark, and a bit sweet, but very smooth.
Oh Man......that sounds so good. God I miss my beer. I never drank from the bottle. I always poured it into a glass. I would tip the glass and pour it nice and slow. It would get just a small layer of foam on top. I sure hope they have beer in heaven.
