But why are her hands always small and it always huge? I daresay it is a cliché! "It felt tiny in her giant hands." There now.
Her oiled muscles rippled when she reached for it. It looked meek and vulnerable in her large powerful grasp. She was amused by how small it was, as she eyed it longingly. Licking her lips hungrily, breath heavy with anticipation. The skin was soft agaainst her palms. It seemed to quiver under her predatory gaze. She pinched the sallow skin at the tip and pulled evenly and firmly. She pulled again, and again. Then she feasted upon the expose flesh of the banana.
Wow. I don't even know what to say. It sure seems I'm not very popular around here. But this isn't where it really counts, is it? I'm grateful for those of you I've gotten to know and sorry for offending others. I don't apologize for what I believe or stand for. But I can take a hint. Good luck to you all.
I've had a lot of hesitation before ultimately deciding whether or not to write certain graphic things, but for what it's worth, I think to some extent you just have to break through that mental barrier of "I don't know ... this is kind of gross ..." -- then you can begin to judge things more objectively. For me at least, now that I'm past the Ick Barrier (scientific term, there), I feel I have more perspective on whether XYZ is just uncomfortable/embarrassing or actually not worth writing about. I'm sure I don't have a perfect lens, and probably drift into pointlessly edgy material sometimes, but I reckon the more you do it the better you get at it!
@deadrats, chill. And you are very, very, very popular. I didn’t even understand the disagreement on the thread? Something about writing newspapers is different - and someone said ‘how dare you, you shit?’And then 25 people clicked ‘like’ to that? That’s nothing xx
That's not what I observed at all, but your mileage may of course vary. However, I'm extremely aware of what my responses have been and don't appreciate the hand-waiving or dismissing of them.
If it's any consolation, my dad read my self-published novel, where I'd written a first person sex scene (and I was writing a male MC) I only realised afterwards... Ah well.
