Today my biggest Feature Article to date has been published in a 'Big Glossy' Uk's Derbyshire Life magazine it covers 4 pages (1600 words and 5 photos including a whole a page dedicated to one photo (below) It's on Stone Circles in Derbyshire. Forgive me for feeling a little smug this morning (and I got paid for it!)
Thread resurrection alert!! My article has now gone onto Derbyshire Life's website (as the next edition is about to come out) here's a link if anyone wants to read it https://www.derbyshirelife.co.uk/out-about/places/derbyshire-stone-circles-1-6874626
Nice work. My partner and I were up looking at stone circles not long ago, we visited Hordron Edge after a walk in the Peak District. They are magical spots!
Kudos @Simon Says . I'm on the edge of the Peak District and thought I had the place well walked/explored. This is the second time this week mind you I've had a reveal. Your words may well affect my movements sometime this autumn/winter. I'll not need to note down a reminder either; the alliteration's strong in this one...enough of a (twisty)mnemonic in its own right I'd (try to) say. Heritage's Hob Hurst's House—The Bronze Age barrow on Beeley Moor. The other's an article I read on crash sites (aeroplaney type), apparently there's four of them round and about Kinder Scout. No dark tourist here, I'm more a war bird enthusiast. eta Ha, Treks to the Wrecks... it's a thing!
