Birthday Notifications

Basically, how are the "Today's Birthdays" on the bottom of the home page determined? Do we have to set that or is it what we signed up with?

Reason for posting: I'm not listed today.

 

It should be based on the birthday you put when you signed up. But if you choose to hide your birthdate from your profile, then I don't believe you will show up.

Thank you, and how can I change that? The new system has my eyes blazing all around.

 

Settings (at the top of the page) > Edit Profile (at the side) > Privacy (a dropdown box under the "Registration Required Information" section at the top).
