Parts of my WIP takes place in Brooklyn during the 70's (more accurately, Erasmus Street by Nostrand Avenue). There is a particular building there I have been inside and is using in the story. Is the area very different from now? Turns out that the people I knew in NY aren't from NY, so they know less about the city than me. Are there any books or movies about Brooklyn during that time?
Wow, I hadn't thought of Son of Sam, and I love serial killers! The story takes place in 76, so that should be right in the middle of it... right? I haven't googled it yet
