Can someone take over the poetry contest?

Discussion in 'Monthly Poetry Contest Archives' started by thirdwind, Jul 31, 2015.

I plan on stepping down as contest mod in the near future because school's keeping me busy. Would anyone be willing to run the poetry contests? It's not that hard. They run every 3 weeks, and it takes 20 minutes or so to announce the contest winner, set up a poll for the contest that just ended, and start a new contest.

I wouldn't mind doing it, but I would just need a quick run-through of how it works. I know the winner usually gets to pick the next theme, so if you stepped down would it just keep going as if you never left?

The poetry contest is on break right now because of the summer contest, so you'll have a while to learn things. The contest will start again in another 3 weeks or so. Also, I'll help you in any way that I can.

If that sounds good to you, send a PM to me and Wreybies, and we can figure this out.
