idiots' idiotic ads on the site

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by mammamaia, Sep 28, 2011.

does anyone other than me find the stupid 'ask a attorney' and 'ask a estate lawyer' ads at the top of the site page annoying as bleep?

try as i can to ignore the idiocy, it's like a blinking hotel sign shining in your window every night... can't avoid seeing it! :p

Here in Norway we get some stupid phone ads. But yeah, they are annoying.

The ads on my page want to help me find "romantic singles"! Better that than attorneys! :D

um... did any of you get exactly what it is that bugs me?... as in, not the ads themselves, only those 'a's that should be 'an's to make sense grammatically?

    I do not see ads.

    Edit:
The grammar nazi in me did cringe.

On Google Chrome you can install Ads Blocker, it removes almost all Ads and those it doesn't you can easily remove yourself (right click --> AdBlock --> Block this ad or block an ad on this page).

Lol. No, I didn't! That'll teach me to skim!

That said, estate agents bother me a lot more than bad grammar!

for those who've blocked the idiocies, there's a running ad at the top of the page with a box where you can 'ask' lawyers questions... it changes around with different specialties and for 'estate' [and 'international'], it says, 'ask a...' instead of 'an'...
