Is there a less fitness/anatomy term for traps the triangular upper back/neck muscles? I have a scene where a person is being washed and I a running out of terms. Thanks.
Neck and shoulders are fine. But it is an erotic scene and need to linger a bit. Would like to communicate specifically enough but without sounding like an anatomy book.
Feeling alliterative. Hmmm, Ahh for the kneading, with oiled thumbs, of those muscles that rest, in need of rest, alongside, and one at a lingering time over, the knolly bumps of the backbone. Up, up they slide, deft digits of de-tension, on their soothing path. A path past taut tops of shoulders to tenderly press the nape of aching neck.
