I did a drawing! To be honest, it doesn't really look like her. There's something not quite right, I think it's the face shape. But it does look like a person, so I'm willing to count that as a victory. IMG_20180105_224347_hdr.jpg

I had zip to do at work for most of the day, so I decided to do my first drawing in goddamned forever.
Not character art per se, just a sketch of some random mutant gribbly from one of my settings.

To get Ideas for my characters, I have been using Pinterest. I might have a go at putting my ideas together and drawing them myself at some point, not that I am great with illustration!

It's "gorgeous". Feel like that's the wrong adjective :D

How about "morbeous" (morbid+gorgeous)? Yeah, I'm making it a thing. And thanks :)

The drawing? I'm guessing three hours or so, including a couple of botched attempts. I'm all kinds of rusty, but it turned out fair for the amount of time I spent on it.

3 hours... I don't see how that's humanly possible, but wow, all credit to you.

Very kind of you to say so, but I must make it clear that that's three hours of active work, and it may well have been closer to four. Hard to say, with all the breaks and the not keeping track of time. Also, digital art is generally much more efficient. And now that I've done my part to remain humble... Thank you so much, appreciate the compliment.

Sometimes when I'm drunk I make my characters into pretty mermaid princesses.

Most of my characters are men.

... anyway, this is Yoshi. If Yoshi were a beautiful mermaid princess.

I love Inskscribble's drawing style so much! Have you tried the Erté one?

Also, everyone's life needs pretty mermaid princesses.
