For my next book I'm creating a character that feeds off the cooked flesh of cattle and the fried flesh of chickens. I don't want to go the "vampire" route because it's been done so many times. Any ideas for what my character could be?

I have to admit, I'm finding myself wanting to feed the troll, if only to see how fat he gets. I don't think it's a coincidence his next thread started off describing the diet of a potential monster, or fellow troll, or human rather, for his next sleeper series.
