hi everyonee, hows things? I'm great to be honest, but having a very early night tonight. I didn't get much sleep lastnight because of my children so tonight I am going to be very early. Like within the next hour early.

 

I hope you get some sleep. Some friends of mine are driving up here today, and the damn weather decided to go back to winter-like conditions. It's been fine for two whole weeks, now it's awful in the blink of an eye. Gah.

 

Whoa, there's actually quite a few people posting at the moment...since i've been here it's been quite quiet. :-S

Man. I'm still tired after stuffing up my work hours yesterday...

Wednesday night I figured I would stay up late and went to bed between 1 and 2 am. Why? cause I thought I was starting at 11am the next morning- I could sleep in.

About 6 am, as my BF went to work, I put my clothes in the wash thinking that I had plenty of time. Then I got a bad niggling feeling in my stomach so I go double check the time I started work. Turns out, I was supposed to start work at 8am. I was like ah crap! and had to wait for my clothes to dry, once I put my clothes in the wash, I went back to bed to power nap for half an hour/hour or so, rolled out and pretty much threw my clothes on and turn up to work around 8am on the dot when they were opening the doors! >< Luckly my boss was ok.

So TODAY, I start at 11am - 6:30pm. I am gona be buggered. I am still tired now but I can't go to bed now- left it too long. I have to go soon so I can quickly shower, dress then go pay my car rego.

Goes to show you should double check what time you start work! ><

 

And I think I'm getting a cold!

Just been confirmed that a story of mine will be published in an anthology "Short and Twisted 2008". Its one I submitted for the 2007 anthology that didn't make it (although another did). The editor tells me she has pages left to fill so she picked mine (among others) from last year. Although it kinda makes me feel like an also-ran I also figure the people that buy the book aren't going to know that!

Hey, at least it will count for the ol' author's CV.

Anyways peoples I am off again now to go get my charming little daughter to go to sleep as I want a hot bath and a very early night. Long weekend ahead of me I love the weekends
