What is something that is only acceptable if a group of people do it? Like, if someone was doing it alone, they'd be scrutinized for it, but if they had a group of people with them it would be okay? And it doesn't have to be something acceptable, like "Oh, that's good", it can be something where the group just avoids trouble whereas as a solo person would get in trouble. The wording might not make sense, sorry, just ask and I'll try to simplify.
Sudden dancing in an unexpected environment. A bunch of people get their groove on in a random mall and it's a heartwarming flash mob YouTube video. One dude starts dancing in a public place and you know the cops are getting called ASAP.
When does this take place? People nowadays think nothing of going off for a camping trip or hiking for fun, yet a couple of hundred years ago, you'd be considered crazy if you just walked into the local woods for recreational purposes..... In contemporary times, I think most people seem to think that eating alone in a busy restaurant is a bad thing to do alone - how dare you tie up a table and linger over your spagetti while all these people are waiting.....sigh. Look, I was HERE first. They can WAIT.
