This is an interesting article. Citizenship for the Dead Its not that there are non-US Citizens in the military that surprises me, but that they weren't automatically given citizenship when they entered. Thoughts?
What a way for terrorists to not only become citizens but have a chance to sabotage the military actions. If someone wants to enlist in the military by all means go for it. But have them have to be in the military for a year before citizenship is granted. A lot of that year goes into training and would weed out the ones who simply want citizenship and those who really want to be in the military.
