For those that use music to help you portray moods in your writing what would be your playlist?
    For me:
Fight/Dark Scene(s): Queen of the Damned Soundtrack, Fave: Slept So Long by Korn, 2 Hours of Dark Music by Adrian Von Zieglar, I Know I am a Wolf by Leonard,
When Shit hits the wall: Guardian of the Galaxy Soundtrack
Random Inspiration: Chesire Kitten by SJ Tucker, Medusa by Heather Dale, Wonderland Natalia Kills
Positive and complex: Anything Ultra Music
World Building: The 1 Hour World Music by Adrian Von Zieglar

What I am currently vibing to: I know I am a Wolf by Leonard

Sad Stuff: Anything by Keane, bit of Procol Harum (A Salty Dog)
Up beat scenes: Frank Sinatra, any bit of jazz I can get my hands on
Dark things: Rise Against, some Muse, random stuff I find, Death Note OST
However I mainly use the soundtrack from Cowboy Bebop for most things, I only go to the above when I really need to get my head in the zone.

Nothing for certain types of scene but lately I have been listening to Tom Waits a lot while I write.

All Prog; concept albums, odd time signatures, tempo changes and string passages.

The Mars Volta's Frances The Mute has been the soundtrack to my current WIP. Another good one is Dream Theater's Scenes from a Memory. Beautiful album.

I listen to a lot of jazz and piano covers. It keeps me in a light, writing/reading mood.

It's not exactly on constant rotation, but there's a whole load of the current WIP that's thanks to this song getting stuck in my head:
