Fellow writers: Use Sensory Information! When you're writing a story, don't just describe what your character sees. Describe the smells, sounds, tastes, and touches. Sound Touch Taste Sight Smell Keep those 5 in mind and throw in a smell or a taste every once in a while. "Why," you ask? Because if you just include "Sight," the reader is going to feel like a spectator, and most of the time, you don't want that. If you include the other 4 in your story, the reader sometimes will feel like he's actually the character, if it's done correctly :] Hope this helps!
