While that sounds nice in theory, it seems like the kind of thing that could easily end up feeling more pretentious than anything.

Not really, as his complexities necessitate coping mechanisms to help him deal with a world that mostly can't understand him, and to deal with the things in himself that would prove to be dangerous to others without those coping mechanisms.

    That doesn't really assure me.

It's okay. I can't relate with Gandalf the Grey or White, but I still find him fascinating. :)

    I'll accept that.

I have The Shaman. No one does understand him. He's lived for generations (107yrs), seen epochs, and actually knows things beyond knowledge. Yes, you can come to understand him perfectly, if you commit yourself to him, becoming shaman yourself, in your own time. How long before that commitment comes along? Talk about living beyond your years!

Sounds like a very interesting character. Some info about mine: he's on the intersex spectrum, he has an IQ north of 230, he has horrible scars but no memory of how he got them, since he stopped aging at fifteen due to something that happened to him in the past he undergoes an artificial aging procedure to be twenty one, the procedure makes him less androgynous and more womanly, and it causes the dormant monster in him to awaken and begin to assert itself.

That name is slang for Gypsy where I'm from; just saying.

What I want is a special effect/dream costume department's nightmare for part one and then for part 2 I want a props department's challenge and a half special effects half trip to Best Buy costume department's artistic brain child they can have fun with maybe. IDK.

IDK, maybe costume departments like dressing up as olde witches.

    I want...
    Part one:
    Mother
    Daughter
    Protagonist Colonial authority figure

    Part two:
    Mother
    Daughter
    Mother's trusted colleague

Interesting. He certainly wandered the world, an orphan, searching for truth, but found his home in the course of his search. In time to meet his last Aunt, who suckled him before he was lost pre-turn-of-the-century (late 1800s).

Pi'e was a term of endearment for children, it mistranslates as 'little'. He knew not the significane of it, til his Aunt told him, just before she died. In the ancient tongue, it was a conceptual, a part of a lullaby, meaning the small part of the greatness of the future - the hope of the future.

His given name was Ke'i (Kay-ee). The old ones have not shined their light on the meaning of this name for me, yet.
