    Cosplay

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Shn1010, Nov 16, 2016.

So I cosplayed as my MC. It's too bad that I'm not writing as much as I should.

In the future, I plan on cosplaying as many characters from my novel as possible with the help of my friend.

What about you guys? Have you ever done anything like this?

P.S.: I've attached a photo of my cosplay

Haha you can always cosplay as transformers if you don't have a good figure. That's what one of my friends did.

I loved watching them when they had competitions on TV. And I accidentally came across a SteamPunk Cosplay when I was at a nearby hotel. That was fun.

The book I'm writing at the moment is based on me and my crazy adventures in Holland so I guess I technically cosplay as my MC everyday :p

But I've always wanted to do real cosplay. I'm fascinated by it.

It kind of confuses me how someone can have crazy adventures in Holland. Then again, how would I know? I did my best to make my MC a different person to avoid the "Mary Sue" label. But when I cosplayed as my MC, no one recognized me at the con (obviously) and I couldn't just shove my book in their face. My book isn't published yet. o.o"

I'm going to a comic con this weekend, me and my fiancé have done a few different things. Last time and this time we're doing a steampunk style outfit. His sister is going as a lady-joker and her boyfriend is going as Beast from xmen. There are some genuinely amazing outfits.
