after years and years of helping aspiring writers on sites like this, i finally had to put into words what so often drives me to distraction and the involuntary issuance of cussin' that'd make a sailor blush... any of you know what i mean? ;-)
I fell in love with that little poem. God, it good. Funny, short, well executed and well done. You are my new hero.
hey, there, my little swedish dove/dub! i'm happy and honored to be your new hero[ine]... hope your old one won't take it too hard! c'mon now, cap'n bob, fess up... it really hit you like, 'Oh, yeah!' right? ;-) thanks for the feedback, kids!... hugs, m
Auggh, I need to blow that up 300% and paint it on my wall to look at every time I say I "can't" write...
Hey Whiskey!-A tip-Cut your effort by 33%!!. Just concentrate on the money and fame. When you've built those up to eye level--"Surprise"!!--There'll be the Chicks. Also when it drains away the last one left is really worth having!. Thanks Ma--missed that. And my- Aaww- was tongue in cheek--doesn't everyone know some of those -of whom- you speak??.
Well, I have ten dollars in my bank account, I'm anonymous in my own hometown, and my thoughtful narrative pacing isn't quite the aphrodisiac I was led to believe it would be. Writing is hard. Maybe I'll try acting.
If you don't have creepy fans, stalkers, and a heaving stack of rejection letters, you aren't trying hard enough.
Oh, God, Cogito, I have actually seen copyright misspelled that way in the front pages of a small-press / vanity press novel. *headdesk* And the really horrible thing is that the story was good, it was just hard to see under all the frackin' homophone errors. *twitch* Oh, ow, must go have some water to get that memory out of my head.
thanks, guy/gals! i'm gonna go get it copywritted right now, on one of those neat sights that do it for you... then i'm gonna let a reely good publisher have it so we can both make a lot of money and i'll be a famous author... hugs t'y'all, m ps: oh, and the title's now: WritingWebsiteWoes.con or, is this version better: WritingWebsiteWoes.c’mon!
