    Novel Books and chapters

    When you have books that contain chapters do you continue where what chapter you started from on the last book onto the next book or do you start over with chapter numbers?

    This way?

    Book One
    Chapter 1
    Chapter 2
    Chapter 3

    Book Two
    Chapter 4
    Chapter 5
    Chapter 6

    Or this way?


    Book One
    Chapter 1
    Chapter 2
    Chapter 3

    Book Two
    Chapter 1
    Chapter 2
    Chapter 3

    I agree, the second is appealing. Especially if it's a "new book" at a time.
