It appears a handful of times throughout the year to see the growth of his legacy before disappearing back into the shadows of the World Wide Web. Perhaps one of a kind, the Daniel is praised and loved by all of those in the WritingForums.org and fills them with purpose and belonging upon taking in his sight. This is a thread that records such rare sightings. Perhaps through careful observation, we can know his purpose and pattern of appearances. Daniel sighted today at 9:12pm MCT.
He's the chief. Back in the old days this website was very authoritarian: a chief and also an enforcer, I won't name him or her, but @Otigoc thumped squeaks who swore and such, kind of techno-viking but East Coast liberal viking. Then there was a mystical witch lady - dispensed hillbilly from the backwoods, collected young people for her cauldron. She is dead now, still many blades were lost to her flames, an editor, I believe. The old tribe are still remaining hereabouts in pockets so tread carefully if you want to survive, and don't quote me, ever. Apparently, during a kind of bong or revelation in Peru, Arthur/Daniel [pseudonym] turned flap liberal [repetition], dropped the bumper stickers, fired @Ogitoc - he now moderates a scalextric forum. Well done Oscar. It's only recently that I've become active on the site but I've been around a while (eight years, on and off), lurking and reading. Sheriff Cogito ruled the roost back then and he didn't take any prisoners. I gotta lot of respect for him.
April 23th 2014 12:01 An exhaustive late day made me remain awake throughout the night. It was only then, when the night was at its blackest, that I saw the elusive Daniel. Perhaps a new sleep schedule is required to track this mythical man.
So you didn't expect him? Hmm he appears when we don't expect him... Are we sure he's really from Illinois? He seems rather... Spanish.
