Dark Fantasy || Adult Fiction || Obsessive; Izzy

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by KiiingIzzy, Aug 15, 2017.

Hey~ I'm Izzy. I've been writing since I was 17 (that's 8-9 years to anyone's who's counting). I mostly do dark fantasy, but I really love everything. Pirates, dragons, shapeshifters, and vampires are probably what I mess with the most.

I do a lot of my writing late at night, which means I don't have a lot of writing friends to talk to when I'm actually working. I'd love to make some if anyone here wants to shoot me a PM.

I'm about halfway through the 2nd draft of my current project, but I have only a bajillion others in the works. I'd love to talk about anything you guys have going on. Nothing gets me more excited than talking to another writer about what they love :)

Hey Izzy! Welcome to the forum :D . You and I have seem to have a lot in common. I'm a fantasy guy myself first and foremost (though I love Sci fi as well) and I usually like exploring darker themes in my stories. My current WIP novel is actually a dark fantasy and vampires play a really big role in it. I love vampires, seriously they're my favorite fantasy beings. I could talk for hours about them. Pirates are really awesome too, though I don't think I've ever read a book with them as the main focus, maybe I should :p .

Have you ever read anything by Michael Crichton? He's the one who wrote Jurassic Park. Before he died, he finished a book called Pirate Latitudes. It's by far my favorite pirate book.
