A sparrow raked the sky, lazily gliding between the ground and under the hills of white. It pushed its wings down and onward; above one old undisturbed tree. Parallel was the black snake of the road, carrying cars blind to the sparrow.

    Challenge for the next person:
Describe a duck in three sentences, without using the word duck.

The wave of energy shimmered as it crawled like lava, permeating(?) the shops and restaurants. Dead things twitched, pork jaws yawned, fish flopped, naked barbequed fowl flapped crispy wings, coming to life. The tasty bird lifted it's head, looked at me with lifeless eyes, and opened its bill, "QUAACK!!"

Aaagh, I can't believe I forgot the next challenge!

A sentence, with the word 'sight', that has nothing to do with seeing.
A sentence, with the word 'flight', that has nothing to do with flying.
A sentence, with the word 'bright', that has nothing to do with light.
(Bonus points if they're all in the same story)

Sometimes it's a damned sight cleverer not to fight, scratch, and bite. Better sometimes to spit in his eye and take to your heels, now and again your best friend is flight. Just don't let him catch you, and bend you o'er knee; and smack on your bottom till it's all blue and bright.

Challenge: Write a three-sentence action scene without using the word "the" (am I doing it right?)

We ran flat out. "Nobody does anything that lets him keep Jessie!" Pam shouted. We all huffed in agreement, as we neared our corner.

Try to continue the story using just one name, and use it only once.
