Hello, Let's say what is believed to be a UFO crashed in the United States. What kind of response team would be dispatched to investigate? Would the NTSB show up, the FBI, The Air Force, etc What military rank officials would be in control of said investigation, both at 'ground zero' and at National Defense Headquarters (or whatever it's called). Bonus question: How are United States fighter jets identified by ground control or each other for that matter? Do they call them something like: Bravo Echo 1 I am also Googling for info, but was hoping there's someone on this forum that's in the military and can really elaborate. Thank you much. Tons of questions, but I'll start with this.
Conspiracy theories aside, I'm pretty sure either the FAA or Air Force looks into reports of vehicles flying where they shouldn't. If you're going for a Men In Black thing, you could make it a division of Homeland Security, or even Immigration (aliens, hurhur).
