It was pointed out to me today that the linoleum upon which my feet rested—when peered at over my knees, for I was sitting—was an extreme close up of the Milky Way. I went to contest it, only to realise the statement was indeed true. I'm no Montrealian (thing?) @DarkWoods but a Mancunian and... as no-one's declared their proximity (and indeed replied to your msg/request thus far) I'll fess I'm v. close if the Milky Way's to be the measure.
