If you can make a statement in six words that described your life, what would it be? For instance... I have lost and I have loved.
If contractions are allowed: It's alright I suppose. Can't complain. If not: Could be better, could be worse. Also, ShadowReeves is right. Some attempt at humour: "Fine, the meaning of life is-" "She sells she shells- oh damn!" "It is better to have loved" "Good working, good cooking, good f___ing"
@ Shadow Reeves, ooops, lol. Thank you for the edit kind Sir @ Smythe, any six words will do...besides profanity And I like your second one. Seems to say more. Love to dream, fear to fly. ---------- Post added at 09:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:17 PM ---------- @ Quezacotl, how many dogs do you have???
@ Quezacotl, wow, I meant to ask topeka sal. Don't mind me. Evidently I must be drunk posting today. @ another wasted day, nice one, lol. sounds like me. @ Naiyn, hope everything turns out for the better. Sounds like something did not.
Hee hee! Truth? None at the moment. But many in my life (the most was three at once, which doesn't sound like much but they were all huge and I lived in a tiny place. It was all dog, all the time! I could have knitted five more dogs with all the shedding fur!). But I was also using "too many dogs" as emblematic of excess, eccentricity, clutter, and love (among many other things no doubt). It was a kind of metaphor for my life.
Particularly as she wrote so much about Turkey and loved it there, I guess I'm with Lady Mary Wortley Montagu's last words: "It has all been very interesting."
