    Someone who's a reporter/journalist: AP Stye question

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by Mallory, Sep 20, 2010.

    Hi,

I'm typing an artice that includes the dates Sep. 28-29. I know how to properly format dates with AP Style, but what about when it's 2 concurrent days: do you put down "Sep. 28 and 29", or just "Sep. 28-29"?

I can't find this in the stylebook anywhere and I've checked under dates, months, punctuation, dashes/hyphens, etc.

    Thank you!

Edit - realized that I made a typo in the title, sorry about that.

EDIT again -- never mind, I got it! :)
