I've got a sentence that I've not sure how to format. It's the same character speaking after a pause, but it doesn't look right to me and I think it should be broken into paragraphs. “Look at this, Forcell,” he beamed. “Have you ever seen such barbarism?” Forcell held out a hand, taking one of the small packages and held the severed finger, regarding it with curiosity. “Indeed, I have not.” Fiske laughed and turned to Traoke. “Do you also have their heads in your pack?” When Traoke didn’t answer, he sighed and continued. “Very well, you have completed the contract. Tell me, did the rascals have much of value on them?" “They were living off the land. The people they were stealing from were not rich.” “As you say.” Friske turned and walked back into his office.
Looks fine to me. It's the same character, so you shouldn't break it up. Otherwise, it becomes quite confusing. Also, put the preceding line ("Indeed I have not") on the same line as Forcell's action.
