    Double Wammy

Discussion in 'Success Stories' started by Mike Kobernus, Jul 1, 2014.

I am in a most unlikely position. Two publishers are both requesting publication of one of my stories.

One does not object to publishing previously released material. The other does.

Now, it just so happens that the magazine that requires unpublished material will release the story first.
    So their requirements are satisfied.

The other publisher will release it second.

I did not expect this outcome, but it is a two for one. Like catching two carp on one hook!

    That's pretty sweet!
An extra circulation ofyour name and work to different readers can only be a boon!

Yeah. I felt a bit rotten about it, until the second publisher said it was fine by them.

    So, a twofer...

Got to be pleased with that!

That's great! Is there a time limit after the first publisher before the second publisher can publish it?

No idea. The conditions specified by publisher 'A' do not mention anything. So I guess not?

The e-book is out now. It is available via the publisher's website, and will be on Amazon shortly. In the event (highly unlikely as it may be) that anyone wants to have a look, go here: http://dark-places.co.uk/shop/

By the way, apologies if this post contravenes any rules....By all means remove if it does.
