    Drawing Thread!!

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Klee, Jan 23, 2008.

I thought it would be fun if we posted drawings we've done. Colored or not, pro or amateur, original or fanart, let's share!

I'll start. It's recent and unfinished, but it's kinda nice...sorry it's too big!

Photoshop all over! The original was done with pencil and paper, just scanned it and used the pen to fill the colors. I'm experimenting with not using lines.

Come on! Show us something! Can't be as bad as my real drawings.

Gawd, I wish I had my sketches here, there's one of Hilary Duff in those! And it looks original! I'll show them when I get to Naini. Hey are we allowed to show Avatars, banners and all that we made? Wallpapers and stuff?

Having not yet witnessed Britney's new hair do, and standing little chance of doing so, I'd go with my art :p

I usually do comic strip kind of things so the end result is not pretty. :p

I haven't done a 'serious' drawing in a long time.

I've been doing sketching of hands lately to improve my skills at drawing parts of the body, but I'm too lazy to scan them onto the computer :p Haven't done any proper sketching for a while, only just getting back into it, I mostly do photography these days.

This is a sketch I did quite a few years ago. It's a round stone barn in a Shaker village near Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

That's a pretty good sketch there Cogito! I'm thinking of scanning a couple of my silly doodles I do in school so much...

    Show off Cogito.... :p

I used to draw- I don't really anymore. I tend to be better at writing. But I wish I had photo shop. I would love to have it. So I can make meshes and stuff for my simmies. :D

Manga? You're not too bad at it. Gloom can draw awsome Anime and Manga stuff. She tried to teach me but I odn't have the patience to sit there. Besides- I only manage a good drawing every so often.

I could show you some other manga stuff I've done, just not here, I'm a bit embarrassed about those.

I did these back in highschool when I was bored (during maths and english probably :p). The perspective on the house is way out, and the sun has gone supernova, but whatever. It's made up from my imagination, lots of strange things happen there...

The gun is a H&K Match drawn from memory. I fired it at a range ages ago.

If I find any more of my good drawings I'll post em up.

    I do not draw.
Even when my grandson was 3 and we were colouring he told me that I really shouldn't draw because nobody would know what the picture was supposed to be.
I was always kind when I didn't know what he drew. Children can be so cruel.

Ditto!! But children who are your best friends could be crueler......!!I know from experience, I sketch fine but my painting is pathetic, and my friends used to make such fun of it that I did not have the guts to show any art designs at school after then, and I would almost always get a D grade in art.
