Problem: Not letting me post my story

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Infinitytruth, Apr 5, 2011.

So the problem I'm having is I can post anywhere else on the forum, but it won't let me post in the short stories section. It lets me post reviews, but it doesn't let me post stories that I have written. It says that I have either not activated my account, or that my account was disabled by a mod.

Its frustrating because I really want to get some feedback/constructive criticism (Is there a comma here?) on how I can make my writing better.

I just created an account yesterday, so I don't see how I could be in trouble already with a mod, and I KNOW I activated my account, (comma there?) via email at least 2 times now.

not that bad, if you want to be a writer... it usually takes a lot longer than that just to get a rejection! ;-)

It actually gives you perfect time to get used to the forum. Newbies shouldn't be able to post their works right away without learning of the forum first.

For example, if a newbie was allowed to post immediately, and they receive criticism that they do not like or their story was deleted because that poster did not obey the rules (due to not reading them, or not having the time to get used to things) then this forum would lose a lot of members due to inactivity or deletion of their accounts.

    14 days is fine.
