i'm not sure how (or if) a member can edit that info... but i can change it for you from the admin panel if you let me know what you'd like it to be

ah... problem... its a drop down list not a free choice field and gothic fiction isn't an option... i might be able to add it, but i'll need to poke the the back end gremlins gently with a pointed stick and make sure i'm not going to break anything by doing so (incidentally the option for user editable is turned on so you should be able to edit it yourself from the profile page/profile info (but only from the drop down) if you can find it... moderator editable is turned off The reason for these things being drop downs rather than a free choice by the way is if you have free choice fields spammers have a tendency to write Buy Moah Viagra" in all of them, which is a chore to clear up
Okay thanks for clarifying! I still can't find it, it's not in the Personal Details editing tab, nor any of the other account editing tabs, so far as I can see. I can post screenshots if you like? Having said that it's not a big deal, if it can't be changed I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, I just wondered.
I'll need to log on with a non admin account to see if i can find what you'd need to do (telling you i can see it isnt going to mean a lot because the great moose knows all and sees all)... as i say its moot anyway because you'll only be able to choose from the drop down list... which incidentally is the same list as the 30 prefixes in by the genre.. If i can add it to the drop down without causing a pocky lypse I will.. but it may not be straight away

Hooray, thank you! It shows on the Information tab of the profile. I didn't even realise it was there until I stumbled on it accidentally.
