A herbalist friend of mine needs an editor / guide to help with an Amazon Ebook publication. Please point me in the right direction, is there info on this forums for such services? A UK source is prefered.
I haven't used this service myself, but it came highly recommended by a friend of mine who was a professional editor before she retired. It's called the Editor's Forum, and I quote a part of an email she sent me: "Instead, you can either search our member database at <http://www.editorsforum.org/search_editor.php> for someone with the skills and subject matter preferences to be a good match, or you can describe what you're looking for at <http://www.editorsforum.org/job-listings.php>, and our jobs coordinator will circulate the request to the membership, allowing those interested in the job to get in touch with you. In either case, the negotiations would be something for you and your chosen editor to work out; the organization doesn't intervene in those. " I don't know if it's international, but they might be able to steer you to a UK version of the forum.
