Hi, thought I'd share a YouTube channel I found quite interesting. He explains how scenes can be developed in a movie/film. My favourite essay is this one in particular:
The title of this thread reminded me of something an artist once said: that the most important part of a picture is the frame, because it separated the world inside the painting from the world outside the painting.
I can sort of understand that. The frame is also what tells you that it is worth noticing. Without that separation, it has no value and would go unappreciated. I guess that is also what narrative does for stories.
