Fantasy name for a giant marketplace?

Hi, I'm after naming my giant marketplace so it can be refered to as something else other then "market" to separate it from the other, smaller blackmarket ones around, something like The Scrum or similar.

Bit of background, the city had a giant magical tower in the center, and all around it like the rings on a tree, lies a large marketplace dealing from clothing, to potion ingredients, to (if you know a guy who knows a guy) dragon eggs or other things.

I actually like the sound of "The Scrum," to be honest.

 

I second "the Scrum".

"Intraceptonic mercantiplace", also springs to mind.

 

I third that. It's original, and it actually sounds like something a giant, medieval/fantasy market could be called.

 

I agree with above comments. The Scrum is unique and sounds like something a part of a city would be called, especially a fantasy city. Good luck with the story.

Just to let everyone know, i opted for the Golden Orb, or The Orb for short. Partly because the market stalls are all going to have yellow/orange roofs to them, and also because my blackmarket is going to be called the Web, and i wanted the two linked somehow, and the golden orb spider popped into head.

 

How about Nephila, their genus name?

Nephila Marketplace... it sounds really "official," while The Scrum sounds like a nickname given by the locals.
